The rapid expansion of India’s data centre ecosystem, driven by cloud computing, AI, and digital services, is accelerating demand for renewable energy. Global technology leaders are increasingly adopting India-origin International Renewable Energy Certificates to advance their sustainability and carbon reduction goals.
We aim to continue expanding and customising our offerings to meet evolving demand through Energy Attribute Purchase Agreements (EAPAs), carbon credit services, and STU-connected solutions across key states.

Objective:
Cisco Systems, Inc. set out to embed sustainability across its operations and achieve Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions throughout its value chain. As part of this commitment, the company aimed to power its India campuses entirely through renewable energy.
CleanMax Approach & Solution:
Since 2017, we've partnered with Cisco to deliver over 120.35 MW of renewable energy across India. A milestone is the 92.10 MW wind-solar hybrid project in Jagalur, Karnataka (2024), powering Cisco’s India campus, its largest outside the U.S. The hybrid system generates about 181.4 million kWh annually, avoiding nearly 0.13 million metric tonnes of CO₂ emissions each year.
Outcomes Achieved:
Through this engagement, Cisco now sources over 90% of its electricity in Karnataka from clean energy. Recognising this impact, CleanMax received the Excellence in Sustainability Award at Cisco’s Global Supplier Day in San Jose, California.

Supporting ‘Climate Pledge Commitment’ for Amazon
Objective:
Amazon aims to achieve net-zero carbon emissions and transition its operations in India to 100% renewable energy.
CleanMax Approach & Solution:
CleanMax has partnered with Amazon to develop a 100 MW wind energy project in Koppal, Karnataka, connected to the national grid. This project will supply clean power to support Amazon’s electricity requirements across its India operations..
Outcomes Achieved:
Scheduled for completion by Q2 2026, the project will generate approximately 355 million kWh of renewable energy annually, helping offset nearly 252,000 tons of CO₂ emissions each year.

The rise of manufacturing under the “Make in India” initiative and PLI schemes is driving the adoption of renewable energy, along with infrastructure growth and electrification across various sectors, including airports and metro systems, creating strong demand for customised renewable energy solutions.
We aim to expand our Conventional C&I customer base across various sectors, driving India’s structural growth, encompassing Make in India, GCCs, and infrastructure development.
